Public Access Statement

              

                    

 

The Sanctuary (Worship area):

 

 

Has full disabled access.

Is available to the community

for worship, films, concerts and exhibitions. 

 

 

Other Rooms:

Have disabled access (via ramp).

 

Are available and advertised locally for community use for more than 104 days a year and at fixed, affordable rental.

 

The receipts and bookings are administered by the Booking Secretary and Treasurer and full records are kept of all transactions.

 

All areas are fully insured for public liability and regularly inspected to comply with current legislation.

 

All bookings are made at the discretion of the managing trustees (the diaconate).

Ad-hoc Rental costs are per session

A session is; morning, afternoon or evening (3/4 hours)

The Sanctuary (Worship area)

 

The Sanctuary, built in 1776, has comfortable, seating for, up to, 100 on the ground floor and a gallery (limited access) capable of seating a further 80. 

 

The Pipe Organ is a fine, well-kept instrument and there is also a 

Clavinova.

 

There is a public address system and cabling for Power-point presention.


 

 
 
 

The Main Hall

 

The Main Hall is a spacious area with a small stage.  It is capable of seating 150.  It has a wooden floor and is used for a variety of activities including; Junior Church, Funshine & Youth Funshine, Corsham & Melksham Gateway Club, Coffee Mornings, Baton Twirling, Zumba etc. as well as being available for private functions.  

 

There are a number of meeting/“break away” rooms and there is easy access to the kitchen.

Church Room



The Church Room is regularly used as a meeting room by a variety of bodies

as well as a training venue.

 It is capable 

of seating 50.

 

 


Coffee Room 

      (Crazy about Knitting)

The Coffee Room is regularly used as 

an informal meeting venue and is capable of seating 50.  It is also used
